Quiet Stain is a culmination of a month-long residency through the Freemans Artists Residency program and Elysium Gallery alongside artist Heidi Lucca-Redcliffe held in Visible Records Gallery, Charlottesville, Virginia, USA.


My time was spent split between the studio experimenting with various industrial materials from roofing shingles to thick gauge wirings. Combining both intuitive and iterative ways of constructing forms drawings multiple references to both industrial and natural structures and forms present within this new unfamiliar environment we had a privilege to explore within and witness the ever shifting environment and landscape; and from this creating temporary sculptures, interactions, of sorts with materials and matter present within each space and documenting these temporary actions.
